Mowi is Part of the Community

The many phases of Mowi's fish farming business in British Columbia are located in or near a number of coastal communities.

Campbell River, located at the mid-point of the east coast of Vancouver Island, is home to Mowi Canada West’s main office. Known as "The Salmon Capital of the World", Campbell River is home to many resource industries including tourism, mining and forestry.

Port Hardy and Port McNeill, at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, are home to about 200 Mowi employees.

Klemtu, on the mainland central coast, is home to the Kitasoo/Xai'xais people and Kitasoo Seafoods. This joint venture between the Kitasoo and Mowi has helped make fish farming a part of the community.
